“Turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Have you ever found yourself in trials where you are thinking over and over again about how to solve the problem, how to feel better, what you need to do in order to make things better? I think we all have. This kind of thinking often leads us to be filled with frustration, anxiety, hopelessness, sadness or even anger.
We try to sort and figure everything out ourselves and that’s where we wrong! If its one huge lesson I’ve learned, it is that you cannot be guided down the path to peace and happiness if you don’t have God leading the way.
He is our Source of peace, love & happiness, that’s why we must turn to Him during trials. He is the One who will use your trials for good, to direct you out of your suffering and show you the Light that was always in you to shine & turn out the darkness.
So in these moments, take a step back and asked how God can help you. Remind yourself He is here for you, wanting to guide you through the help of the Holy Spirit, and wants what’s best for you. You need not worry about what’s going on or the outcomes, He will help sort that out.
